Why I Picked This Topic
The reason picked this topic is because when I was young and naive my mom gave me an energy drinks before a basketball game and I played the whole game and didn't get tired because I thought it worked immediately but when I got home my mom told me it takes an hour for the "energy" to kick in. Ever since then energy drinks have no effect on me at all because I think it's all a gimmick and it only works as a placebo effect.
Data Analysis:
I failed to ask questions concerning the survey taker’s age. This had a negative impact on the way I graphed my data. I couldn't be specific, but I was able to get enough data to tell whether or not my hypothesis was correct. In my case my hypothesis was in fact correct. The majority of the people I surveyed, 16 out of 25 to be concise, answered that they were not aware of the effects taurine could do to their bodies, however, they still drank the energy drinks knowing that they consist taurine. Being that I had no demographic based questions in my survey though I was not able to detect any trends or patterns within the 25 completed surveys.
